Denim designers, design schools, and NGOs such as Redress are invited to host twenty workshop sessions aimed at promoting denim sustainability, as well as art and culture. These workshops will cover a range of engaging topics, including upcycling, indigo dyeing, cyanotype printing, digital printing, and more. During these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to delve into the world of denim and explore sustainable practices that can be applied to their designs. The workshops will not only provide valuable knowledge and skills but also foster a sense of creativity and innovation. By inviting denim designers, design schools, and NGOs to host these workshops, this event aims to create an interactive platform where attendees can learn from industry experts and exchange ideas. The workshops will serve as a means to promote awareness and understanding of denim sustainability, while also showcasing the artistic and cultural significance of denim as a versatile material. Overall, these workshop sessions will enrich the event experience, offering attendees a chance to explore various aspects of denim craftsmanship, sustainable design techniques, and the intersection of art and culture within the denim industry. These workshops are open to the public and free of charge, operating on a first-come-first-served basis.
